This artwork is made from the Holy Sand of Dhanushkodi~ the last road of India. According to the Ramayana, a revered Hindu text, Dhanushkodi is where Lord Rama, along with Lord Lakshman, Lord Hanuman, and their Vanar army, built a bridge to Lanka. This bridge, known as Ram Setu, was created to rescue Goddess Sita from Ravana’s captivity.
This artwork has a secret stone painted under the sea waves with the word “Ram” written on it. It’s said that the stones floated on the sea only with “Sri Ram” written on it.
